# CWS Hygiene

## Giving a responsibility report a life beyond its pages

For CWS Hygiene, a German based international with laundries in several countries, we created their responsibility report from start to finish and built a wider content campaign around it. The result was not simply a PDF publication, but an interactive collection of CWS’s sustainability stories designed to inform, engage and travel both to their own employees but also to partners and (potential) customers.

Client: CWS Hygiene

Work: Content, copywriting, design and campaign development

Languages: English, German, Swiss, French and Dutch

Deliverables: Responsibility report in several languages, supporting video, social content and print assets

## The challenge

Responsibility reports have an important job to do. They bring together ambitions, progress, data and accountability of an organisation. That can also make them demanding reads.

Assurance providers may examine every page in detail, where employees, customers and partners are more likely to connect with one clear fact, story or example. CWS Hygiene therefore needed a report with substance, and a communication approach that could make that substance accessible to all kinds of readers, internally and externally.

## Our approach

We collected and structured the content, selecting what topics were to be highlighted, wrote the copy and created the complete design of the 52 pages. We then produced the publication in English, German, French and Dutch.

The report formed the foundation. From there, we gave its central stories room to move.

Video as additional service

Circularity can sound abstract on paper. By showing it in action inside a CWS Hygiene laundry, it becomes a process you can experience.

We created a video that takes viewers into that process. Our work covered the full production: from the concept and scripts to voice-overs and filming. The final film reveals their laundry processes, workers and actions behind CWS Hygiene, making circularity more understandable and easier to follow.

Following up with social media and print

To keep the story moving, we also transformed report highlights into social media assets. Spread across pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases, they were designed to build interest, mark the publication and keep its stories moving afterwards.

Finally, we brought the report into the physical workplace. A concise two-page overview made the highlights easy to share, while office stickers turned the call to action to read the report into a small everyday reminder.

## The result

CWS Hygiene received a multilingual report supported by video, social and print content, each offering a different route into the same sustainability story. This diversity gives every reader the opportunity to understand what matters in their own way.
