Be part of a better port

Port of Amsterdam takes responsibility around their supply chains

As a long-term partner, we support Port of Amsterdam throughout their sustainability journey. From trend analyses to strategy development and creative communication.

For a port to be at the forefront of the energy transition towards a sustainable economy, it needs to have knowledge of the risks and opportunities within their chains. Port of Amsterdam asked us to conduct an (international) trend analysis to identify key issues related to corporate social responsibility and major supply flows in the port area. What is currently happening within the chains? How can Port of Amsterdam positively influence these chains?

Accelerate sustainability with a trend analysis

We did a trend analysis – focusing on important chains now and in the future – both in 2019 and 2022. In between, new developments arose in society and in the port’s trade perspective. Insights from the analysis serve to inspire decision-making around Port of Amsterdam’s level of proactivity to their various chains to accelerate sustainability.

New frontrunner proposition for Port of Amsterdam

In 2021, Port of Amsterdam was looking for a new creative concept, to match their updated 2021-2025 strategy and new brand positioning. Together, we were working towards a proposition that accurately reflects Port of Amsterdam’s frontrunner role. It was time to move away from the previous “Port of Partnerships” proposition.

"The team's combination of curiosity, sensitivity, and broad skills and experiences allowed them to take a decisive approach that perfectly aligned with our needs"

Be part of a better port

The new pay-off we developed is ambitious, inclusive, sympathetic and aspirational for the need for positive change. With ‘Be part of a better port’ the port can communicate their ambitions as concretely as possible to stakeholders. By always using sustainable initiatives as supporting evidence of the payoff.
