We developed a campaign to create more attention for Voeding Leeft’s lifestyle program to stop Diabetes2, Keer Diabetes2 Om.
Keer Diabetes2 Om is an intensive lifestyle treatment for people with type 2 diabetes. After participating in the programme, half of the participants use less medication and have better blood values. Participating is often literally life changing.
An emotive campaign for Voeding Leeft’s Diabetes2 Program
Organization Voeding Leeft asked us to create an emotive campaign to encourage people to take an online self-test to check their suitability for the program. The campaign we created focused on participants’ motives for ‘reversing’ their type 2 diabetes. Why did they ‘reverse’ their diabetes2? What can they do again now they do not have to deal with the daily impacts?

In the animations we developed, you see former Keer Diabetes2 Om participants literally ‘turning around’. In copy, we include their answer to the question: why did you turn around your diabetes2?
The campaign was a success. It realized a demonstrable increase in sign-ups since the launch, attracted more visitors to the website, and the conversion rate from the self-test is 2% higher than in the old sign-up flow. Last but not least: we won the 2022 Amsterdam Communication Award with the campaign – leading to even more visibility for the programme.
